About Ms. Cleveland, our Prinicpal
A little about myself: I come from a family of public educators, including my parents, my sister, my mother-in-law, and my sister-in-law. I believe in public education and many opportunities it provides. I began my teaching career in Arizona, teaching 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. After one year in Fairfax County, VA teaching 6th grade, I moved back to North Carolina and taught 6th grade Science at Martin Middle School. I served as an Assistant Principal at Athens Drive High School for 3 years and I am thrilled to return to my Middle School roots. My husband, Jeremy, and I both graduated from UNC-CH and some of our favorite times are cheering on our Tarheels with our sons, Trevor (8), and Brady (4).
I am looking forward to a hard working, busy summer learning all the fantastic things about Wakefield Middle and preparing to begin the 2017-2018 school year! Please feel free to contact me at any time! I’m proud to be a Wolf!
Sincerely,
Alison Cleveland
